Award-winning gin events company appoints new manager

Award-winning events company, No.18 Ltd has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of event manager, Finlay Cowe.

Finlay joins the business following a period of significant growth in 2018 which saw the firm win Best Scottish Gin Event of the Year at The Scottish Gin Awards and increase revenue by 118%.

New event manager Finlay, will play a significant role in the launch of No.18 Ltd’s brand-new event, Craft Spirit Expo in March 2019.

The first Craft Spirit Expo event will take place at Ayr Town Hall on Saturday 9th March 2019. Eight other Craft Spirit Expo events will take place in venues across Scotland throughout the year. The event will showcase a variety of spirit brands from Scotland, the UK and the rest of the world including Matugga Rum, Island Slice Rum, Lost Loch Distillery, Crafty Connoisseur, Ink Gin and many more.

Prior to joining No.18 Ltd, Finlay spent seven years at brand activation agency, The RAWK Agency. Here, Finlay undertook several managerial roles including event manager and operations manager. Finlay worked with a number of high-profile drinks brands including Bacardi and Innis & Gunn.

Newly appointed manager, Finlay has also assumed various roles in spirits industry including brand assistant for Darnley’s Gin and events manager at Wemyss Malts.
