Be the first to see Christmas at Dunham Massey 2023 with great value off-peak tickets

Be the first to experience a treasured tradition in the festive calendar when Christmas at Dunham returns for a seventh season on Friday, November 17.

The mesmerising outdoor trail begins its six-week run at the beautiful National Trust property, but tickets are selling fast.

Georgie Lofthouse, general manager at Dunham Massey, said: “Our magical trail is a firm family favourite and the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. Why not start your festive season in style and be one of the first to see our fantastic new installations for 2023?”

November dates still have availability for off-peak time slots, in which adult tickets start from £19 and £12.50 for children aged 3-16. Infants aged 2 and under go free. A family ticket during off-peak times is fantastic value at only £60. Off-peak slots start as early as 6pm on some evenings – visit the website for full details (see below).

Off-peak tickets are perfect for families with older children and for loved ones and friends who can enjoy the beautiful installations and choreographed soundtrack on a slightly quieter late-evening trail.

Standard tickets are also excellent value at £22.50 for adults and £14.50 for children and those time slots begin as early as 5.15pm on selected dates, after the peak time slots have passed. National Trust members can also park for free if tickets are booked before the day of their visit.

New trail features for 2023 include Herbum by TILT, a large-scale sculpture that evokes a tuft of wild glowing grass with its red and green strands and vibrant blue tips flaring up like a volcanic eruption.

Another new installation is the spectacular mushroom-inspired Mycelium, by Stevie Thompson of Custom Fibre Optics, whilst there are three innovations from UK-based technical and creative studio ArtAV – Pixel Banners, Star Arch Walk and Pixel Tree.

Discover Studio Vertigo’s huge silver star, Nova, shrouded in mist as if just fallen from the sky; and Aether and Hemera’s Voyage, a flotilla of hundreds of colour-changing, floating origami folded boats.

Along the trail, independent street food vendors bring a delicious twist with tasty treats on offer. Complete your walk under the stars with a *spiced winter warmer or hot chocolate shared with friends and family.

Everyone loves toasting a marshmallow over an open fire and the artisan *marshmallow stall gives visitors the chance to warm their hands and enjoy this sweet outdoor tradition.
