BOUNCE LAUNCHES THE NEXT GENERATION OF INTERACTIVE AI GAMING WITH PING PONG X
This week, Bounce launches its new futuristic AI gaming experience – Ping Pong X – available to book across all three of its London sites in Farringdon, Old Street and Battersea.
Ping Pong X is set to transform Bounce’s ping pong gaming experience to new heights. Using the latest ground-breaking AI and ball-tracking technology, Ping Pong X enables more interactive gameplay than ever before, whilst keeping track of your scores so you don’t have to.
At the bounce of a ball, your traditional table digitally transforms into your own personal gaming arena, with four brand new games available to play for all skill levels and group sizes.
Simply bounce the ball on the table to get started and add up to 16 friends. By scanning the QR code, you can take snaps of each player on your phone, type their names and then let the games begin. You can check your hi-scores at the end of each game and perhaps see your face take the winning position on the leaderboard at the end – perfect for those who enjoy a little healthy competition.
The new table offers up four interactive ping pong games:
Power Up: A game that offers players the chance to win extra bonus points for their rally
Hexapong: Ping pong on steroids, you have just 90 seconds to take a shot at the highest value hexagons and avoid the danger zones in this high-octane game of speed and accuracy
King Pong: A chance to battle it out with your group to see who will be crowned King of the Ping Pong table
Classic Ping Pong: Enables you the chance to play a classic rally but let the table keep score
Hexapong is one of the new games to play on Ping Pong X
Bounce first introduced its interactive ping pong experience back in 2017 with the arrival of Wonderball, which offered up some of the earliest ball-tracking tech to bring digital gameplay to life. But Ping Pong X provides a next-level standard of AI gameplay that accurately tracks where and when the ball is in play. The new interface is slick and intentionally blends into the venues’ sporty and playful design.
Toby Harris, CEO of State of Play Hospitality who own and operate Bounce, commented: “Ping Pong X represents a landmark achievement for the Bounce brand born from extensive R&D led by State of Play and involving a world class team of tech and design experts. Implementing AI in the dynamic, fast-paced environment of Bounce was a daunting yet thrilling challenge for our team. I’m super excited for our guests to experience the magic of Ping Pong X first hand. With innovative features and new games already on the horizon, our goal is clear: to use cutting-edge technology to redefine the amount of fun you can have around a ping pong table!”
Ping Pong X has been developed based on feedback from guests at Bounce. It offers more interactive elements and fun ways to snatch a few sneaky points from your friends. You can try it out for just £8 per person, seven days a week – for pre-booked parties, private hire, corporate events or just walk-in and try your luck.
Head to the Bounce website to book ahead of the crowds and get ready to deck the halls with ping pong balls. Game on! https://www.bouncepingpong.com/.
