Bru’s dirty little secret: the secret menu item set to cause a stir amongst coffee drinkers

Those visiting Bru Coffee and Gelato, which has stores located in Leicester, Cardiff, Reading, Walthamstow, Harrow and Canada Water, may think that they know the menu well.

They may already be impressed by the extensive coffee selection, which features sixteen types of 100% speciality arabica bean coffee to choose from. But what they may not realise is that Bru is home to a secret menu full of drinks and flavour combinations that’s not on the board.

Coffee connoisseurs have been refining their beverages to suit their taste buds for years. And now, Bru bosses have decided to let everyone in on one of their best kept secrets as they launch their new seasonal menu item on Tuesday 21st September.

Introducing, The Dirty Chai. One of Bru’s most popular secret menu items, The Dirty Chai is made up of a traditional Chai Latte with an added shot of Bru’s unique 100% speciality arabica espresso.*

For those craving an extra dose of the strong stuff, a Dirty Dirty Chai is also available and, yes, it features two added shots of espresso!

Dirty Chai posterBru Director, Aftab Gaffar, said: “We’re really excited to be introducing this customer favourite to a wider customer base. The spiced chai latte flavours are great for the autumn months and we think people are going to love it.

“At Bru we have some incredibly loyal customers who are passionate about our coffee. Many of our customers, with the help of our highly skilled baristas, also enjoy experimenting with the flavours and this is how the Dirty Chai, along with other secret menu items, were originally created. The Dirty Chai has been a really popular secret menu item for years so we thought it was about time that we let others in on the secret!

“We hope customers enjoy it – we’re sure they will. It’d be great if it also inspires more customers to create new secret menu items of their own. The possibilities are endless and, after all, coffee is often served with an extra sprinkle of imagination and adventure.”

In addition, customers needing to cool down, either after or instead of a Dirty Chai, can enjoy Bru’s newly launched Chai Latte Gelato – a unique flavour that has been created especially for Bru stores and can be enjoyed either on its own or as a Dirty Chai Affogato.

The Dirty Chai Latte and Chai Latte Gelato launch on Tuesday 21st September.
