COMPETE AGAINST CHAMPIONSHIP DRIVERS: STATE-OF-THE-ART RACING SIMULATOR REVEALED AT SAMSUNG KX
Racing fans can now discover a full-motion driving simulator exclusively at the Samsung KX experience space in Coal Drops Yard. The combination of AXSIM’s Formula Simulator paired with The Wall Biz, the 1.2m pixel new luxury and super-sized bespoke Samsung display, delivers an unbeatable esports experience.
Guests can fully immerse themselves in the action by testing out the patented g-cueing technology which simulates the g-forces felt in real-life racing. Initially developed for training fighter jet pilots, it’s since been supplied to Formula 1 teams and professional drivers. Designed and built in the UK, the innovative simulator also offers a range of race circuits and car models used for professional driver training.
Professional British racing drivers including The Grand Tour test driver, Abbie Eaton and stunt driver Jessica Hawkins, were invited to set lap times on this new experience.
Driver Jessica Hawkins said, ‘I first came across this simulator at the beginning of 2019 and used it to prep for my season that same year. It’s without a doubt the best simulator I’ve ever used and I’m excited that guests from both in and outside of London can have the same experience.”
What’s more, those under the age of sixteen can use the Racing Experience in ‘passenger mode’, a pre-recorded simulation allowing them to be taken for the ultimate ride with a champion driver.
The Racing Experience is free to use and available to the public throughout opening hours at Samsung KX, London’s Coal Drops Yard. Height restrictions apply.
