Cruiserweight Sensation Richard Riakporhe to fight Adam Williams at the O2
Riakporhe will be fighting Adam Williams on the undercard of Dillian Whyte’s vs Lucas Browne WBC silver heavyweight title defence at the 02 Arena in London.
With an undefeated record of 5 wins and 4 KO’s, 6ft 5ins tall Richard Riakporhe, propsepcts of achieving his 6thwin on the 24th March are promising.
The marketing and advertising graduate Riakporhe began boxing for Camberwell club Lynn as an amateur. He won the Haringey Cup in 2011 and took a sabbatical for his studies.
Riakporhe enjoys backing from top heavyweight Anthony Joshua & regular sparing partner Dillian Whyte (who Richard often spars coming from the same gym and who will be headlining the night).
When asked on his prospects Riakporhe says:
“I’m holding myself well. I’m weighing 14st 4lbs and can mix it with guys who are heavier. I could move up to heavyweight in the future. I’ve probably sparred at least 10 rounds every week with Dillian in this camp.”
