Developer Frasers Property UK has unveiled its plans to reopen the marketing suite and show apartments at their flagship development Riverside Quarter in Wandsworth on May 20th following the publication of the UK Housing Secretary’s Housing Market Restart and Safe Working Charter and after undertaking a thorough risk assessment.
Frasers, alongside sales agent Savills, have undertaken a strict risk assessment in accordance with the published guidelines to ensure that that development and working environment is safe for staff, estate management, residents and customers ahead of re-opening the sales gallery, show apartments and consolidating concierge functions.
Now that the risk assessment has been carried out and as part of the government’s Housing Market Restart and Safe Working Charter updates, sales staff will return to work and the sales gallery and show apartments will reopen to the public on 20th May. Strict guidelines have been put in place based on advice from the Construction Industry Council and the Housing Secretary’s Restart and Safe Working Charter guidelines.
Riverside Quarter sales galley is spacious providing ample space for social distancing whilst viewing the models and only one secure route in and out allowing the sales staff to monitor who can enter the gallery. The Savills sales staff have been carefully briefed on the anti-coronavirus safeguarding procedures that have been put in place.
Buyers must schedule an appointment with Savills to visit the Sales Gallery and Riverside Quarter show apartments. As per the new guidelines, appointments will be focused around off-peak commuter travel times, with a minimal number of people attending the visits to assist with social distancing. Savills will ensure that social distancing measures and procedures will be adhered to throughout the tours.
Savills have carefully mapped ‘contactless tours’ in the show apartments meaning that that show apartments are prepared so buyers do not need to touch anything whilst the sales agent waits outside to maintain social distancing.
