DOM’S SUBS BRINGS ITS SUPER NOODLES SANDWICHES TO MANCHESTER FOLLOWING HIGH LONDON DEMAND

Batchelors Super Noodles, the Nation’s Favourite block noodles1, has uncovered fresh insights into the nation’s sandwich habits. New research from a OnePoll survey2 shows that almost a third (29%) of British sandwich eaters enjoy sandwiches four to five times a week – yet nearly half (49%) say they want more creative sandwich options in shops.

And of our sandwich eaters, 30% consider themselves adventurous, while one in three (33%) are experimenting with new fillings. And when they do, it pays off – 66% of those who’ve tried quirky combinations enjoy them. And although 74% say they prefer savoury sandwiches, a fifth can’t choose between savoury and sweet – a reminder that Britain’s sandwich tastes are broader (and bolder) than you’d think. The research also highlighted some of the more unusual pairings people have come across, from egg and crisps to apple and cheese and even jam and cheese, showing just how open the nation already is to unexpected flavour combinations.

Social media is shaping this shift too, with 26% saying it influences what they choose to eat and 22% willing to try unusual combinations after seeing them online. That momentum has helped fuel the rise of the noodle sandwich, a trend cooking up a storm across social platforms. And with 1 in 5 (20%) of British sandwich eaters saying they’d be likely to buy an instant noodle sandwich, there is clear proof of a growing national appetite.

After the buzz of the launch in London – where the Super Noodles sandwich giveaway ran out in under two hours – the irresistible sub is now heading North. Known for its freshly baked bread, generous fillings and big flavours, the cult sandwich brand Dom’s Subs has partnered once again with Batchelors Super Noodles – and official taste‑tester Big Zuu – to bring the unique sandwiches to Manchester.

For a limited time, Dom’s Subs will launch in Manchester on Uber Eats, allowing fans across the city to get their hands on the Super Noodles Sandwiches without leaving home. The move marks the next phase of the campaign, following the hype‑building London launch and opening the trend up to a wider, national audience.

The limited-edition sandwiches echo Dom’s famously signature bold flavours and unique combinations. The Tarragon Chicken option includes warming Chicken Super Noodles, and the Vegetable Tikka Masala is finished off with Curry Super Noodles and fresh coriander.

Throughout the campaign, Big Zuu has played a hands‑on role, working closely with Dom’s Subs during development as the official taste‑tester to make sure the Super Noodles Sandwich delivered on flavour, texture and comfort. Known for his love of bold food and playful mashups, Zuu was involved from early tastings through to launch – bringing his foodie credentials and honest reactions to the heart of the collaboration.

Big Zuu commented: “British sandwich eaters love a wild combo – and noodles in a sub roll is next level. The Super Noodles Sandwich is bold, fun and surprisingly banging. I love seeing people push boundaries with their food, and this one definitely deserves its moment.”

The limited-edition Super Noodles Sandwiches will be available via Uber Eats in applicable addresses across Manchester from 23rd to 27th February.
