Exclusive Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink Interview: Believes Mudryk Will Be The Next Hazard, Chelsea Should Bag Kane This Summer For £50m + More

In an exclusive interview with Safe Betting Sites, former Chelsea and Leeds player Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes Chelsea won’t get top 4 but urges Boehly to stick with Potter.

He also wants Chelsea to bag Kane for £50m this summer and said that Mudryk could be as pivotal for Chelsea as Hazard was.

Mudryk Will Be The Next Hazard

Not only has Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink likened Mudryk to Joe Cole, he aso believes he will be as pivotal to Chelsea as Hazard was.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said “Arsenal had their valuation but when you get into a bidding war it’s up to the selling club to hold their price. Chelsea wanted to do business but Arsenal didn’t want to get it done to the same extent and Chelsea capitalised on that. I think for Chelsea it’s a very, very good acquisition. I can see him making the fans very happy over the next few seasons. I mentioned Joe Cole but I think he could be even as important as Eden Hazard was. I’m not comparing them because that wouldn’t be fair but if you remember, Hazard came from Lille and in his first year he needed some time to settle. But then all of a sudden he took off and became a vital player at Stamford Bridge.”

Chelsea Capitalsed On Arsenal’s Wavering Over Mudryk

Hasselbaink believes that Trossard was a cheap buy considering how the market has been in recent times.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said, “Playing for Brighton is a very different prospect to playing for Arsenal. He’s got Martinelli and Saka in front of him, as well as Jesus and Smith Rowe so we’ll see if he can handle that and make that left wing or right wing position his own. It’s a cheap buy in terms of where the market has gone in recent times.”

Chelsea Should Bag Kane This Summer For £50m

When asked who Chelsea should buy in the summer he believes that they will be able to bag Kane for just £50 million.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said, “The only person you could go and get who is that type of player who will strengthen Chelsea in that position is Harry Kane. If I was in charge I would go after him. I know he might not make the move because of the rivalry with Spurs but I would at least try. I know he’s 29 but at the end of the season he will only have one or two years left on his contract. He won’t cost £100m this summer, he will cost more like £50m or £60m which is much better value.”

Haaland And Saka Standout Players Of The Season So Far

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said: “Everybody is going to say Erling Haaland because of his 25 goals and rightly so but I would throw Bukayo Saka in there. He was absolutely magnificent against Man Utd and if you look at how mature his performance was against France in the World Cup too. He showed me that he is at the top level. I’ve been impressed with Luke Shaw recently but Saka made him look ordinary on Sunday.”

Chelsea Need To Clear The Dressing Room To Find Success

When asked about who will leave Chelsea in the summer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said: “Chelsea have brought in a lot of players so a lot of players need to go too because otherwise you are going to have a lot of negativity in there. You want to work with a small group ideally. You don’t want to be working with 30 or 35 professional players that are all thinking they should be in the starting XI.”
