FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT THIS EASTER AT FAIRFIELD HALLS

Fairfield Halls is pleased to announce details of some of the exciting events, shows and activities coming to the venue over the Easter holidays.

The holidays will see the return of the theatre’s annual fun-filled Easter pantomime to the Ashcroft Theatre on Wednesday 5th April at 2pm & 6pm. The production will see the return of the creative team behind the theatre’s productions of The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan and Beauty and the Beast with a cast including comedy legend Bobby Davro, Matt Pagan from the Britain’s Got Talent winning group Collabro and Easter panto favourite Karen The Mam’s Lewis Denny.

The Easter holidays will also see the return of the theatre’s Family Cinema Club offering, which sees nine family favourites screened in the Ashcroft Theatre with all tickets priced at £2. The film offerings for the cinema club are: Minions, Rise of Gru (8th April at 11am), Pinocchio (8th April at 2pm), Paddington (8th April at 4:30pm), Turning Red (13th April at 11am), Sing 2 (13th April at 2pm), Rio (13th April at 4:30pm), Lightyear (15 April at 11am), the 2016 live-action The Jungle Book (15 April at 2pm) and Encanto (15th April at 4pm).

Families can also enjoy a pre-show or movie pizza and drink deal at the newly launched Pronto Pizzeria in the main foyer – £13.50 for a pizza and drink, which can be booked at the same time as a ticket – making it a fantastic day out for all the family.

Alongside the announced Easter events the theatre also has an extensive range of family events, shows and activities programmed throughout the Spring and Summer including Ballet Theatre UK’s passionate and innovative recreation of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet at the Concert Hall (16th March), the Olivier Award-nominated interactive puppetry show Dragons and Mythical Beasts at the Ashcroft Theatre (9th-11th June), the UK’s biggest and award-winning dinosaur show Jurassic Live at the Ashcroft Theatre (24th-25th June) and the children’s pop concert Pop Princesses at the Ashcroft Theatre (26th August).
