Hello Vet opens new clinic, bringing transparent and stress-free veterinary care to De Beauvoir
Hello Vet – the UK’s first veterinary practice to invite pet owners into treatment and recovery rooms – has opened a new neighbourhood clinic in De Beauvoir, bringing a calmer and more transparent approach to veterinary care to local families and their pets.
The new practice has been purpose-designed in partnership with the veterinary professionals who work in it. The space aims to reduce anxiety for pets, create a calmer experience for owners, and support veterinary teams to do their best work.
The clinic moves away from the institutional sterility often associated with healthcare. Features include warm timber panelling, separate waiting areas for cats and dogs to minimise pet anxiety, and bespoke lighting designed to balance clinical needs with comfort. A private, quiet courtyard and consultation rooms fitted with switchable privacy glass allow teams to move instantly between ‘open’ and ‘private’, helping to instil a sense of calm. The bright, welcoming ground floor is also fully accessible, with extra-wide doorways for wheelchair users.
A dedicated cat-only consultation room, set away from the main waiting area, offers a quieter environment with fewer distractions. Cats are also able to settle more comfortably thanks to a bespoke climbing wall that allows them to choose their preferred height.
