HORTOR EXPANDS SERVICE OFFERING WITH NEW LEAD CONSULTANT

Hortor, the global strategic resource specialist with UK offices in Leeds and London, has appointed Nick Benham as its new Lead DevOps Consultant.

Expanding its pool of recruitment experts, Hortor appointed Nick as a 360 Consultant focusing on new business heading up the DevOps desk for London and the Thames Valley.

After establishing a successful tenure in sales, over the last two years Nick has been forging out a recruitment career. Now joining Hortor, he will work closely with a wide range of local businesses to assist them on their DevOps journey, whether these organisations are an SME looking to bridge the gap between their development and operation teams or a large corporation looking to implement an automated DevOps Environment to the cloud.

As a 360 recruiter, Nick will be involved in the entire recruitment process from identifying new clients, winning the business to sourcing candidates. This comprises a full-service model of recruitment, helping candidates in all stages of the process including the preparation, sourcing, screening, selecting and hiring.

Nick comments: “Hortor is successfully making its mark on a rather saturated recruitment sector and this is what initially attracted me to take on the role. The culture, mature working environment and opportunity to build my own desk and mini business from scratch is also really appealing to me at this stage in my career.

“I’m really excited to help lay the foundations of what I’m confident will become a very important division of Hortor’s operation in London and the surrounding area. I take great pride in being able to help the very best talent take their next steps in their careers, and I cannot wait to begin this new journey!”

Founding Director at Hortor, Andy Roe, comments: “Our biggest challenge is trying to find the right people to fit into the Hortor culture. We’ve successfully steered away from traditional recruitment organisations and are committed to employing people who are willing to embrace this and continue to disrupt the sector.

“Welcoming Nick to the team marks a significant step in not only expanding Hortor’s footprint in London, but also increasing the organisation’s specialist capabilities. We are looking forward to seeing Nick build a thriving division in the DevOps space. The future is looking very bright at Hortor.”
