Housing Hand helps more renters than ever, recording busiest quarter in history

UK rental services provider Housing Hand has experienced the busiest quarter in the organisation’s 12-year history, helping more renters than in any previous three-month window. The July to September 2025 period saw the business achieve record performance, with the number of renters completing its guarantor application process up 17.8% compared to the same quarter in 2024. Compared to 2023, the figure has jumped nearly 30%, as increasing numbers of people use guarantors to overcome barriers to renting and secure the rental home they want without having to pay significant chunks of their rent upfront.

From investing in technology that supports renters to move more easily, to delivering innovative add-on support services, such as its newly launched virtual health and wellbeing service, Housing Hand is known for its market-leading initiatives. Recording its busiest quarter ever speaks to the organisation’s commitment to quality support for a growing number of working professionals and students renting homes in the UK. It also reflects growing demand for the reassurance that guarantor services offer landlords and renters.
“We’re seeing several factors driving both renters and landlords to seek the peace of mind that comes with using an insurance-backed rental guarantor service. The ripples created by the passage of the proposed Renters’ Rights Bill through parliament, on top of the general financial climate in the UK, mean that the reassurance of a guarantor has become a critical part of the rental transaction. The fact that Housing Hand has consistently settled 100% of all valid claims for well over a decade ensures we are the trusted market leader for anyone seeking a guarantor.”

In addition to guaranteeing rents, Housing Hand offers numerous services designed to smooth the rental process for all parties. Its House Finder service enables students and working professionals to tap into a trusted network of property providers and landlords, while its Depositless offering removes a significant barrier for renters trying to secure their ideal property. For those in house shares with joint and several contracts, Housing Hand’s Only My Share service minimises rental liabilities.

Ever at the forefront of the rental services market, Housing Hand has recently launched a virtual health and wellbeing service, provided free of charge to all those who use the company as their guarantor. Renters and dependents who live with them can all benefit from the service, which aims to support all individuals with no limit per year with their physical and mental health needs.

Dani Smith, Housing Hand’s Sales Manager, comments:

“We are thrilled to have just had our busiest ever quarter, helping more renters than ever. It’s testament to the hard work and creative thinking that goes into running and developing Housing Hand’s services every day. But we’re not resting on our laurels – there’s plenty more that we plan to do to support accommodation providers and renters over the coming months and years as we continue to evolve and innovate.”
