Huge new ratings success for GB News as it beats Sky News EVERY DAY through November.
GB News beat Sky News every day throughout November, cementing its position as Britain’s number one news channel.
Official BARB ratings show the People’s Channel attracted more viewers than Sky News for 30 consecutive days last month.
The data, taken from BARB’s industry-standard audience figures for November 2025, track total audience share and average views.
Between 6am and 2am, GB News saw its average views rise by 25 per cent, from 91.5k to 99.9k. In comparison, Sky News recorded 79.1k average views and BBC News Channel recorded 64.2k, putting GB News firmly on top for the fifth month in a row.
The data also indicates GB News is well ahead of Sky News across the year. Between 1 January and 30 November 2025 (334 days), GB News has beaten Sky News for 62% of the time.
Number one throughout the day
From breakfast and daytime programming through to evening prime-time, GB News came out on top over Sky News on both weekdays and weekends.
The channel’s award-winning GB News Breakfast show secured record-breaking numbers, shrugging off a revamped Sky News breakfast programme to remain far in front.
Camilla Tominey Today also achieved its highest-ever audience figures last month, with strong growth for her Sunday morning show.
GB News also won the ratings battle on Budget Day as viewers turned to the People’s Channel for coverage of Rachel Reeves’ statement.
Audiences similarly flocked to GB News for major breaking stories including the Cambridge knife attack, fallout from the BBC crisis sparked by the resignations of Tim Davie and Deborah Turness, and the channel’s world exclusive interview with Donald Trump
