Local homebuilder welcomes Chief Operating Officer to Yorkshire

Local homebuilder, Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, was delighted to welcome Barratt Developments PLC Chief Operating Officer, Steven Boyes to two of its standout developments in the region.

Steven Boyes visited two developments, Salter’s Brook in Cudworth and Ambler’s Meadow in East Ardsley, where he met the developments’ construction and sales teams, as well as touring the sites to see the progress of homes being built in the region.

The visit also saw Steven Boyes present two apprentices with their certificates for completing the homebuilder’s apprenticeship programme at Salter’s Brook. Louie Evans and Alex Chappel will now continue their careers with Barratt Developments as subcontractors.

Surrounded by picturesque open countryside, Salter’s Brook is a community of stylish three and four bedroom homes in Cudworth. Salter’s Brook is a friendly community with great local schools and a popular shopping area, and is centrally located between Barnsley, Doncaster and Wakefield. Buyers can purchase their new home with just a 5% deposit with the Help to Buy scheme or trade their current property in for a new home using the homebuilder’s own Part Exchange scheme.

Ambler’s Meadow is a stunning development of three and four bedroom homes in the popular village of East Ardsley. Ambler’s Meadow is a fantastic community and boasts easy access to the vibrant city of Leeds and Wakefield. The Help to Buy scheme is also available at Ambler’s Meadow, as well as the Part Exchange scheme, which gives buyers the option to trade their current property in for a new home.

The new Education Worker Deposit Contribution scheme is also available at Salter’s Brook and Ambler’s Meadow, with those working in the education sector entitled to receive a deposit contribution of £750 for every £25,000 spent, up to a maximum of £15,000.
