LOCAL HOUSEBUILDER LAUNCHES ANTICIPATED NEW DEVELOPMENT IN PEACEHAVEN

East Sussex housebuilder David Wilson Homes is set to unveil its much-anticipated first phase of homes at the popular Chalkers Rise development in Peacehaven this week. The first release of properties and dedicated show home will launch on Friday 4th June, following exceptionally high levels of demand from local buyers.

David Wilson Southern Counties will initially release a selection of four-bedroom modern family homes at Chalkers Rise, alongside revealing the first show home onsite – a four-bedroom Bayswater house type. Visitors to the development will be invited to view the show home and see first-hand the lifestyle available at Chalkers Rise. Set across three floors, the Bayswater offers residents the opportunity to customise their living space, with flexible open plan areas and space for a home gym or office to accommodate working from home.

All new homes at Chalkers Rise have been designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating clever features to ensure the homes are environmentally and economically friendly. Features include energy-efficient boilers, high-quality insulation, thoughtfully positioned windows to encourage natural light, and smart storage solutions.

Lynnette St-Quintin, Sales and Marketing Director for David Wilson Southern Counties, comments: “We’re extremely excited to launch our eagerly awaited first phase of homes at Chalkers Rise. Peacehaven is one of East Sussex’s best-kept secrets, just a short drive down the coast from Brighton, yet an attractive seaside destination in its own right. It’s a fantastic location for first time buyers and growing families, with coast and countryside on its doorstep, including the historic chalk Telscome Cliffs. A range of fantastic local shopping, leisure, and school facilities are also available in town.

“With a wide range of properties on offer, we will help to meet demand for new high-quality housing in the area. Our first phase will offer homes that are ideal for families looking to join the already well-established community at Chalkers Rise, and with Help to Buy available on selected properties, we are expecting our sales office to be fully booked with appointments on the 4th June!”

Chalkers Rise is situated on the edge of the picturesque South Downs National Park, while the local beach is just under 1.5 miles away. In town, a range of amenities are on offer, including schools, local shops, and independent restaurants and cafes. The bustling city of Brighton is just 20 minutes away in the car. London remains within striking distance, just 70 minutes away by train from the nearby Lewes Railways station.

Karolina Pociute, a new resident at Chalkers Rise alongside her husband Ramunas and their son Ainas, adds: “We love living in Peacehaven and think it is a really convenient location – we have everything we need here, such as local shops, and Ainas’ school is walking distance from Chalkers Rise. It is really convenient being so close to Brighton for work or at the weekends, but we really like how quiet Peacehaven is in comparison to Brighton! We also sometimes drive up to London for a day out, as it isn’t too far either.”
