Josh Corker, a Project Manager at Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, which includes the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, has scooped up the Seal of Excellence award at this year’s annual NHBC Awards, in recognition of his outstanding work and high quality homes at nearby development, Oughtibridge Valley.

Josh Corker, who joined Barratt Developments back in 2011 is the Project Manager based at Oughtibridge Valley and The Mews, Oughtibridge Valley in Sheffield, a development by both David Wilson Homes and Barratt Homes, and gained the national award at the NHBC Pride in the Job event late last month.

The Seal of Excellence is awarded after meticulous judging and celebrates the Project Manager’s commitment to producing homes of outstanding quality at the nearby development. This award is the next step up from Josh’s previous Pride in the Job award, which he achieved earlier this year.

Ian Ruthven, Managing Director at Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, commented: “We are absolutely delighted with Josh’s fantastic achievement. The NHBC Awards honour the very best project managers, site managers and teams across the nation, and for Josh to have won this in the next round of judging is a real testament to his hard work and commitment. I would like to thank the site team involved for their dedication in helping to make this achievement possible, and especially to Josh – congratulations again!”

2022 also marks the 13th consecutive year that Barratt Developments has been awarded 5 stars by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for customer satisfaction, meaning that 90% of its customers would be happy to recommend their home to a friend.
