London named the UK’s seventh most generous region by Raffolux – the UK’s number-one digital raffling platform that raises thousands for charities
With plenty of Brits gearing up to be generous this Valentine’s Day, the UK’s leading digital raffling platform Raffolux reveals that those in Worcester (86%) are the most likely to donate to good causes. The new customer survey commissioned by Raffolux also shows that well over half (58%) of Brits are more likely to play an online raffle if it contributes to charity.
Despite a challenging economic climate for much of the UK, Raffolux has found that Brits from every corner of the country are still keen to help those most in need. Alongside Worcester, the company’s new survey also highlights the UK’s additional most generous regions which include Manchester (83%), Bath (80%), Derby (80%) and Perth (80%).
With over 100,000 members, Raffolux was the UK’s first purpose-built raffling website when it launched in 2019. The company believes that everyone deserves the chance to live their dreams and each week it makes hundreds of new winners across the UK. 10% of all net proceeds at Raffolux go towards charitable causes and the company has raised over half a million pounds for charities nationwide.
Gerry Lianos, Co-founder and CEO of Raffolux said: “It’s always so heartwarming to see how much enthusiasm there is for donating to charity. Our members regularly tell us how much it means to them to have the opportunity to donate to a specific charity and we are proud to partner with so many from Oxfam and Hospice UK to the National Autistic Society and Great Ormond Street Hospital. To us, these new survey results are a testament to the fact that the generosity of the Great British public knows no bounds. We are delighted to see that so many regions are willing to support those in need. In 2023 we can’t wait to raise even more record-breaking sums for charity.”
