Each year Winer Wonderland draws in thousands of visitors to Hyde Park, featuring roller coaster rides, shows, street food stalls, bars and live music. It’s no surprise that it is one of the top pictured markets in Europe. This year Winter Wonderland is on from 18th November until the 2nd January 2023.

The analysis found that in first place, and perhaps surprisingly so was Zagreb’s Advent in Zagreb, with 70,384 posts on Instagram, followed by Manchester Christmas markets with 52,364. Advent in Zagreb which takes place in Croatia, doesn’t normally come to mind when you think of Christmas, but with 70,384 posts using the hashtag #adventuzagrebu, it tops the list as the most photographed Christmas market.

In third place came Edinburgh’s Christmas market with 44,381 posts on instagram. Visitors will be able to take a ride on the Big Wheel, have a spin on the ice rink and purchase bespoke goods from the numerous alpine chalets.
