Love Island: William Hill names the favourite couples to win

William Hill has revealed the favourite couples to win Love Island 2022, after the first episode aired.
The first set of Islanders entered the villa last night, with a different start to previous years.
The favourite three couples are Luca & Gemma, Luca & Paige and Luca & Tasha, all priced at 12-1.
Other favourite potential couples include the likes of Liam, Davide and Andrew.
William Hill have named its favourite couples to win Love Island 2022, regardless of whether they are currently coupled up.

Fishmonger Luca Bish is lining up as a catch, as the 23-year-old from Brighton appears in the top three couple spots in the market. It’s no surprise given that last night’s episode saw him equally dividing his attention to many of the girls.

All priced at 12-1, Bish is a contender with international dressage rider Gemma Owen, paramedic Paige Thorne – who he is currently coupled up with – as well as model Tasha Ghouri.

Last night’s show saw a mix up with the original production, allowing the public to choose the first couplings for the Islanders – to some of the contestants’ disappointment.

Student Liam Llewellyn, from Newport, was matched with Gemma and tried to step off on a good start. Gemma was less enthusiastic, however the couple are joint second favourites to win at 16-1.

Also in second place at 16-1 are Italian bombshell Davide Sanclimenti, with Gemma – again. A certain favourite amongst the girls, Davide will have his chance to shake things up following a coupling up text.

Other potential winners include current couple Tasha and Andrew, the Dubai estate agent (16-1), Liam and Paige (16-1), and Davide and Paige (25-1).

With the public vote, for some couples things got off to a slightly awkward start. Indiyah Polack, hotel waitress, kept her cards close to her chest with Ikenna Ekwonna, pharmaceutical salesman, when she refused to disclose her type.

Let’s hope the recoupling goes well given that Indiyah and Ikenna are priced at an unlikely 50-1 to win the show and £50,000.

Speaking on the market, a William Hill spokesperson said: “Although the first show received mixed reviews from fans online, we’re excited to see where Love Island will go next!

“With a recoupling on the horizon, and eyes lingering on the ‘Italian snack’ Davide, it’ll be interesting to see who our couples will end up with and who will be dumped from the island.”
