Luxury Arabian Oud Fragrances Launch in UK

Al Rehab launch at the Balmoral Hotel Edinburgh ADE Director Divya Warrier

ADE Exports, a company established to bring a curated collection of luxury goods from around the world to the UK, has launched its first collection, a range of fragrances for men and women from sought-after Middle Eastern brand, Al Rehab.

Al Rehab fragrances use an essential oil made from oud, a rare substance that comes from the bark of the Aquilaria tree, which is only found in the Middle East, Northern India and parts of China. This is then blended with a range of scents, such as rose, pomegranate, leather and tobacco to create a range of luxury fragrances to suit both men and women.

Divya Warrier, CEO of ADE Exports, was born in India and raised in Saudi Arabia. She grew up surrounded by scents based on oud and when she moved to Edinburgh eight years ago was disappointed to find they were hard to come by here.

Divya explained, “I quickly discovered there were very few oud-based fragrances available here, and those that are available are very expensive and contain hardly any oud. I knew I could source top quality products in the Middle East and sell them here at a much more reasonable price.

“That was what gave me the idea to establish ADE Exports and I am so excited to have been able to make my dream a reality. I am now sourcing other luxury products to bring to the UK.”

The Al Rehab fragrances were introduced to Scotland on Friday, Oct 18 at a cocktail reception at Edinburgh’s iconic Balmoral hotel and were a big hit with the guests. The fragrances will be available for sale before Christmas in a small range of exclusive stockists.
