Prem Sivasamy, Deputy Chairman, Lyca Group said, “Christmas is a time for families and friends to come together, yet so many people either lack access to, or are unaware of, the affordable connectivity options available to them.
“At Lyca Mobile, we pride ourselves on offering affordable connectivity all year round, and this Christmas, we want to continue to help people stay in touch with each other. Whether it’s families who want to speak to relatives across the world, older people living alone, or young people with their first phone, we want to make it as easy as possible to access our great value mobile plans. Through our fully digital experience, we help people connect for the moments that matter most.”
Christmas is a particularly challenging time for those without access to affordable connectivity. As many as 19 million people across the UK are classed as being in ‘digital poverty’ according to research from the Digital Poverty Alliance and Deloitte, including a lack of access to mobile connectivity.
