Mackrell Turner Garrett explores new digital landscapes with the launch of a unique podcast series

Innovative international law firm, Mackrell Turner Garrett, has set itself apart in the legal industry by launching a unique and informative podcast series.

The new series focuses on the firm’s specialisms, including blockchain technology, overseas divorce and the Financial Fair play rules in football.

Each podcast features unique insights from practising solicitors, who aim to answer some of the common questions that businesses and individuals face, but also look to go beyond issues to provide practical solutions.

Available on the firm’s website and on the Apple Music store, Google Podcasts, Spotify and many other platforms via Anchor, the new initiative is a value added services to our existing clients and will help us attract a wider audience to the firm’s services by demonstrating its expertise first-hand to potential clients.

Speaking about the firm’s decision to implement the new podcast campaign, Chris Lane, Head of Business Development at Mackrell Turner Garrett, said: “The use of other communications, such as social media and e-marketing, is already well developed in the legal sector.

We wanted to do something that would stand out from the crowd and offer clients and others the chance to gain some useful insights into some of the more niche aspects of the law.

Podcasts are rapidly growing in popularity in the UK with users seeking the information and entertainment they want while on the go. There are around six million people who regularly listen to podcasts and this is an audience we cannot ignore.”

Each show released by Mackrell Turner Garrett is in a Q&A style, with six shows now available online for listeners to enjoy.

“We have a number of future topics we hope to bring to audiences, some that will focus on our specialities and others that will be more general in what they discuss,” said Nigel Rowley, Managing Partner at the firm.

“We intend to build up a library of content that our clients can access, but more importantly that they can share with their colleagues and contacts, which will inevitably help us to build new connections.”
