Mamasons x Chop Chop: Late-Night Ice Cream Sandwiches Land in Chinatown
Autumn just got a whole lot sweeter. Cult Filipino dessert brand Mamasons Dirty Ice Cream has teamed up with the award-winning Chop Chop at The Hippodrome to launch Half Moon Baby Bilogs, a limited-edition twist on the classic ice cream sandwich.
Exclusively at Chop Chop, these pillowy pandesal – soft, lightly sweet Filipino bread rolls – are filled with Mamasons’ homemade ice cream in two flavours: Ube, sweet purple yam, and Milo, a malted chocolate. Think childhood comfort reimagined for grown-up tastes; indulgent and nostalgic, it’s the perfect post-dinner treat.
The new collaboration is a natural fit for Chop Chop’s contemporary Cantonese menu, served daily from 6pm to 4am*. Known for its cult-status roast duck, hailed by The Financial Times as “the best in the world”, the late-night hotspot also offers standout premium dim sum, sharing-style plates and Asian-inspired cocktails. With the addition of Mamasons’ Baby Bilogs, diners can now round off their meal with a sweet hit of Filipino flavour.
Available throughout October, the Half Moon Baby Bilogs are just the beginning, expect more seasonal flavours in an evolving partnership between two of Chinatown’s hottest names.
