MEO Kalorama closed its second edition with great success and announced 2024 dates

After an unforgettable first edition in 2022, on the 31st of September, MEO Kalorama opened its doors to music fans to celebrate its second edition with great success. The international music, arts and sustainability festival welcomed 105,000 people from more than 50 nationalities and countries of origin. Around 33% of visitors came from the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Italy and France.

On Thursday, the long-awaited Blur took everyone on a nostalgic trip back to all their classics like Parklife and Girls & Boys

After a short tour hiatus, Florence + The Machine delivered one of her last shows of the year with an emotional performance in her best cult-like style. Ethel Cain joined Florence onstage to sing a beautiful version of Morning Elvis

On Friday night the electronic music pioneer Aphex Twin put on a jaw-dropping show with spectacular visuals and his usual set of experimental sounds and tunes from his archive

Tiga closing Panorama – the brand new MEO Kalorama stage dedicated to electronic music which proved to be a very popular new addition to the festival

Wearing their characteristic matching suits, The Hives put on a high-energy show on Saturday in front of a huge crowd at the San Miguel stage

At the Samsung stage on Saturday, Cmat amused the masses with an exhilarating show full of tunes, laughs and the best Irish banter

Portuguese talent shone brightly at MEO Kalorama. Highlights include the powerhouse PONGO, Selma Uamusse and Madonna’s favourite Portuguese artists, Dino D’Santiago

MEO Kalorama partners with cultural space and art gallery Underdogs to curate stunning artworks for each stage along with stencil workshops and a community mural onsite. The local artists involved included Mariana Branco and Emanuel Barreira from Half Studio, Diogo Potes, Collective Unidigrazz, Kruella D’enfer and Vai Dar Pitanga

On the last day of the festival, Pabllo Vittar’s fans stormed into the site first thing to wait for their idol who closed the San Miguel stage with an empowering performance full of hits
