Morgan Freeman & Luke Hemsworth Eye-Popping Action Film

GUNNER is an action thriller about Special Ops veteran Lee Gunner (Hemsworth), who goes against a drug cartel after his two sons are kidnapped on a fishing trip. Gunner’s sons stumble upon a massive drug cartel operation which leads to them being kidnapped by the son of the gang’s kingpin Kendrick Ryker (Freeman). Despite being in prison, Ryker runs his organization successfully until he is faced with Gunner, who wreaks havoc on the gang in a bid to save his sons. Joseph Baena (CHARIOT) will also join the cast as Wally, a young, wet-behind-the-ears Deputy Sheriff, following in his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s acting footsteps.

Dimitri is known for helming the box office hit KICKBOXER: RETALIATION starring Jean-Claude Van Damme & Mike Tyson, which holds an impressive 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, with The Hollywood Reporter calling it “A stylish and enjoyable fight flick with just enough tongue-in-cheek content to keep us smiling.” Dimitri also directed the Nicholas Cage led no-holds-barred martial arts film JIU JITSU, which was based on a comic book written by Dimitri.
