Mushroom flavoured Ice Cream launches just in time for National Ice Cream Day

Ice cream flavour wizards Chin Chin have done it again – pushing boundaries with a bold limited-edition mushroom ice cream in collaboration with European Mushrooms.
To celebrate National Ice Cream Day on 20th July, the first 50 visitors to
Chin Chin Dessert Club in Soho on 19th
and 20th July will receive a free Chestnut Mushroom Soft Serve Sundae.

The daring new dessert is made from swirls of rich chestnut mushroom soft serve, topped with a hand-rolled chocolate and mushroom flake, a playful homage to classic ’99. It’s finished
with dehydrated candied closed cup mushroom chips, dragon fruit powder, and a glossy button mushroom glaze.

The liquid nitrogen-made ice cream specialists Chin Chin are known for their wildly inventive creations. This latest mushroom inspired ice cream has been created in collaboration with
European Mushrooms, Nature’s Powerhouses campaign to help celebrate all the different ways and moments you can enjoy mushrooms this summer.

Mushrooms have so much to offer. They’re nutritional powerhouses: a source of folate, B vitamins, selenium, and protein.   Even better, leave them in the sunshine for 15-30 minutes
before eating to increase their vitamin D content, a simple and affordable way to support your health this summer.

The mushroom ice cream will be available exclusively on 19th
and 20th July at
Chin Chin Dessert Club, 54 Greek Street in Soho. The first 50 customers each day will receive a free Chestnut Mushroom Soft Serve Sundae with it remaining on sale throughout
the rest of the weekend. Chin Chin is open from 1pm on both days.
