New comedy series set to star Australian actress Lilly Dennis

The news of this upcoming series has been greatly anticipated and it has finally been revealed that the comedic series I Can’t Help You will be happening!  Set to star Australian Broadway star Lilly Dennis and directed by British legend Ian Ogilvie, the series takes a look at mental health and therapy like never before.

The script has been greatly sought after and Halleloo Productions has come out on top to produce the series.  The series will be executively produced by Second City Alum Angela Benitez.

I Can’t Help You follows the journey of a young British therapist, Felicity, played by Dennis, in NYC who operates her therapy practice out of her apartment.  Her methods prove be rather ineffective on her cliental which consists of one patient with multiple personality disorder.  While being an extremely comedic story, I Can’t Help You does tackle the heavy subject of mental health and erasing the stigma attached to therapy.

Production has also confirmed this week that along with starring the talented Australian Lilly Dennis, the show will feature some amazing guest stars and is set to start filming next year.  The series is said to be part of Amazon Prime’s streaming service, but a release date is yet to be confirmed.
