New Directory of National Dog Walks Released Ahead of Bank Holiday

Outdoors specialists Millets have teamed up with navigation experts Ordnance Survey to put together an extensive free to access directory of over 50 dog-friendly walks spanning the length of Great Britain, taking you from the North of Scotland right through to the South of England.

There are five Greater London walking routes for those looking for something to do locally this bank holiday. And with many Brits having opted to holiday in the UK this summer, there’s never been a better time to lace up those walking shoes and hit the Great British outdoors with an appreciation like never before.

Each region of Great Britain features at least five walks, with one headline walk submitted by Ordnance Survey Get Outside Champions and users who have exclusively shared their route highlights to inspire those looking to explore the outdoors with their furry companion.

Millets have designed an interactive map to explore the route locations, linking to digital routes to view before heading out. For each walk you’ll find information on walk length, duration and difficulty, as well as details of where you can purchase the paper map.

The full directory can be accessed via the Millets blog, featuring an interactive map to visually locate each walk – https://www.millets.co.uk/blog/50-best-dog-walks-across-the-uk
