New recruits bolster Stagecoach Performing Arts expansion across the UK

With two months of the year still to go, Stagecoach Performing Arts has much to celebrate in 2023. In recent months, the brand has added eight new franchisees to its UK network and strengthened its Head Office team to better promote its exceptional educational framework in children’s performing arts. These developments position the brand well as it aims to attract both customers and potential franchisees across the country as it moves into 2024.

As new franchisees launch and take over Stagecoach schools in Winchester, Stoke Newington, Marlborough, Stockport, Havant, Malvern, Huntingdon, Bridgend and Cowbridge, they bring a wealth of diverse experiences and ideas to the network, along with a healthy dose of enthusiasm.

With an established acting career on stage and screen – including credits in The Elephant Man and Mr Selfridge – Natalie Wright also has broad teaching experience across all age groups and settings, from babies to adults and schools to corporate events. Now, she is eager to bring her wealth of knowledge to her students at Stagecoach Stoke Newington.

“I began my journey with Stagecoach as a student at the age of 10, right after participating in my very first school play and discovering my passion for performing,” said Natalie. “Stagecoach became my safe haven, and I absorbed a wealth of knowledge during my time there. When I turned 16, my Principal promoted me to an early stages assistant, a role I loved. At 18, I pursued a degree in Dance and Performing Arts at university. Upon graduating, I swiftly relocated to London, where I immediately delved into performing and teaching drama classes, applying the techniques I had learned from the dedicated teachers I had once assisted.

“After several years of teaching and performing, a friend who had recently acquired her Stagecoach franchise motivated and inspired me to take the leap and purchase my own. It was a significant and somewhat daunting step, but Stagecoach stood by me throughout the entire process – for which I will forever be grateful. I felt reassured that I had chosen to remain within the same supportive family that had nurtured me so well as a child.”

While new franchisees expand Stagecoach’s excellent services across the UK, adding new team members at the Head Office in various departments, such as marketing, events, education and franchise development, reflects the brand’s commitment to self-promotion and ensuring franchisee excellence. Bernadette Csiszer, who previously served as a Franchise Administrator at Stagecoach, has recently assumed the position of Marketing Executive. In her new role, Bernadette is looking forward to enhancing the brand’s marketing strategy to sustain continued growth.

“I consider myself very fortunate to have been offered the chance to work in the marketing department, and I’m deeply appreciative of the Stagecoach family for providing me with this opportunity to apply my existing knowledge and gain further experience in this field,” explained Bernadette. “In my new role as a Marketing Executive, I am committed to giving my all in assisting our franchisees with their marketing requirements. When they succeed, we grow – it’s as simple as that.”

For CEO Andy Knights, these new network additions position Stagecoach favourably to sustain its growth trajectory nationwide, guaranteeing that children from every corner of the UK gain access to high-quality performing arts education. “It’s wonderful to see such a wealth of experience joining our global franchise and injecting new life into our schools and Head Office,” said Andy. “We’re eager to see where they will take our brand and, with such an opportunity for growth, this is a very exciting time to be joining our network.”
