North-West England Performing Arts Students Join Forces With International Talent in Spectacular Showcase Weekend

Talented students from Stagecoach Performing Arts schools across the North West of England, including Altrincham, Blackburn, Oldham, Chorley, and Ormskirk are embarking on the annual two-week Summer Showcase. After a fortnight immersed in learning and rehearsals, the students will put on four show-stopping performances of “The Addams Family” musical at the historic Beck Theatre on the 12th and 13th of August.

The students will have the opportunity to perform the full production of fan favourites including, “Full Disclosure”, “Pulled” and “When You’re an Addams”, as the character of Wednesday Addams finds love in the world-renowned classic tale of family fun and comedy for all to enjoy.

Among the budding stars are several international students that have travelled across the world to take part in the event. Some students have flown from schools from Malta, Germany and Australia. These students will get the chance to absorb and hone their performing arts skills with a professional creative team.

This follows a variety of amazing performances by Stagecoach schools throughout the year, as many students missed out on performing live in 2020. The international production offers local students a chance to come together, learn and perform with students from all across the world. Performing arts helps build on their creativity, courage and skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Three performances will be open to the public, with a fourth available for family and staff. To book tickets, go to https://becktheatre.org.uk/Online/tickets-spa-the-addams-family-hayes-2022
