Music fans rejoice! Record Store Day (18 April) – one of the UK’s biggest dates in the music calendar – is back and London’s cult live music bar, Old St. Records, is turning up the volume with an all-day, all-night vinyl fuelled party.

Open to all, the Shoreditch favourite will host a stacked line of DJs spinning strictly vinyl from afternoon until 2am alongside 2-for-1 cocktails and a complimentary drink for anyone presenting a same-day receipt from a record store*.

Kicking off from 3pm, DJ Carly Foxx sets the tone with feel‑good disco, before DJ Matman leans into funk, hip hop and R&B. DJ Dan Grey brings dance classics followed by DJ P with 90s and 00s anthems. As the night unfolds, Kengo San keeps the floor moving, with DJ Limao closing things out, delivering a wall‑to‑wall vinyl soundtrack from start to finish.

Behind the bar, 2-for-1 cocktails flow (from 5pm – 8pm), including the Elderflower Fizz with Bombay Sapphire and St‑Germain, the Tommy’s Margarita with El Jimador Blanco, lime and agave, and the Tulum Negroni – a Mexican‑twist classic featuring Patrón Añejo and mezcal. Fuel the boogie with signature pizzas including the spicy Diavola Nduja with tomato, fior di latte, spicy salami and Calabria sausage, or the Parmigiana topped with tomato pesto, roasted aubergine, garlic and fior di latte.

Record Store Day celebrates independent record shops, the people who support them and vinyl-music culture with exclusive releases, in-store events and celebrations across the UK and Ireland. Check out neighbouring stores Flashback Records, Rough Trade East and Stranger Than Paradise for limited-edition purchases.
