On average, each of the Royal grand-children live on 27 times the space of a UK household

Prince George enjoys the space of 219 British average family homes.

The Royal grandchildren enjoy more space to themselves at home than the average British family. With the ever-expanding family, these children are starting to share more and more, but how much exactly?

Analysis was conducted by online gaming experts CasinoGrounds. Calculations were conducted comparing the sq. ft of the average UK household, and each house of the Royal family members. The houses were then divided by the number of people living there, to equal the amount of space they would reside in, without having to share.

68% of Britons believe Prince William and Kate will have the greatest influence over the future of the Royal family (YouGov). It is interesting to take a look into their first line of influence, their three children.

The average number of people in a UK family (2021) is 2.39. Dividing the average UK home by these numbers means that UK families live on 305 square feet per person. The Royal grandchildren live on 40,268 square feet each.

The future king of England, Prince George, enjoys 166,000 sq.ft. This is 219 times more than the average UK household. When including both of his residences, Kensington Palace and Sandringham estate, Prince George enjoys the space of 172,388,000 sq. ft; and that is without having to share with any other family member.

Prince Harry and Megan now reside in California. Their home is 18,671 sq. ft. Their two children Archie and Lilibet enjoy 4667 sq. ft of space, without having to share with each other. This is 6 times the space of the average British family.

Princess Anne’s daughter Zara lives at Gatcombe park in the Cotswolds with her husband Mike and three children. Dividing the house by the five members, Mia, Lena, and Lucas enjoy 5696 sq. ft each. These children enjoy the space of 7 British family homes.

Princess Eugenie resides in Frogmore cottage with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their son August. It is 4,000 square feet in total. Therefore, baby August will be spending his time on 1333 sq. Ft.

Princess Beatrice has just given birth to a baby girl, and her future baby will enjoy the space of the Royal Lodge.

On average, the Royal family grandchildren live on 20134 square feet. This is 27 times the average British household.

Before lockdown, a record number of 3,285,000 people visited the official residences of the British Royal family. This generated £49,859,000.

According to Forbes, the British Royal family is estimated to have brought in £19 billion in revenue, pre-pandemic. According to YouGov, 67% of Britons believe Britain should continue to have a monarchy.
