The Dover Harbour Festival is here on 4th and 5th July, bringing an action-packed weekend of coastal adventure for families across Kent and beyond. A highlight in the summer event calendar, the Dover Harbour Festival brings together exciting waterside races and challenges with vibrant local culture and fun entertainment for all.

On Saturday 4th July, the popular dragon boat races return throughout the day, running alongside the new Dover Harbour Festival Sea Swim, RNLI demonstrations and the Cinque Ports Sailing Race.

Do you have what it takes to be a circus master? For the first time, families can put their juggling and plate spinning skills to the test at a pop-up circus school on Clocktower Square on Saturday. Street style performers will entertain with interactive dance, music and puppet shows, and other popular activities including crazy golf will return. Plus, over 100 stalls showcasing local charities, art and culture, combined with live music, will create a lively atmosphere not to be missed.

Diederik Smet, Civic Engagement and Partnership Manager at the Port of Dover said:

“The Dover Harbour Festival, previously the Regatta, creates memories full of sun, sea and smiles for thousands of families every year and brings the local community together – we are delighted to be back with more joy and excitement for 2026.

“Once again, all profits from the event will be donated to two local charities, Emmaus Dover and Home-Start Dover. We are delighted to be working in partnership with so many fantastic local organisations to showcase our region’s world-class culture and heritage on and off the water.”

Live music includes Chris Ray, Alligator Gumbo, the Ratzkins, The Pantasy Steel Band and South Coast Samba on 4th July, and Callum Sutton, The Altones and The Red Stripe Band on 5th July.
