OneDome is taking its “The New Way” campaign nationwide today, calling time on a homebuying process that can leave buyers chasing several companies and acting as project managers for their own purchase.

Buying one home can mean finding and coordinating a mortgage broker, conveyancer, surveyor, and insurer. Buyers may have to repeat the same information, manage separate bills, and chase several people for updates, often without one person overseeing the entire transaction. OneDome calls this the “Old Way” of buying a home.

Its national television campaign uses humour to show the confusion and pressure this can create. It then introduces “The New Way”, which brings the essential services together through one coordinated homebuying service.

The first national 30-second advert will air during Channel 4 News at 7.35pm tonight. Further spots will appear during Channel 4 News and Amazing Spaces: First Homes throughout September. The national campaign will run from 16 September until the end of October, and is expected to reach 7.6 million viewers across Britain.

The rollout follows a successful eight-week regional television campaign across the South of England during May, June, and July. The regional campaign reached three million viewers, while the 30-second film has received more than two million views on YouTube.

Babek Ismayil, founder and CEO of OneDome, said: “Homebuyers should not have to become project managers just to buy a home. Yet they are still expected to coordinate different companies, chase updates, and carry the risk when the process goes wrong.

“We built OneDome because the system should work around the buyer, not the other way around. The New Way brings the essential services and people together, giving buyers one team to support them from offer to completion.”

“Taking the campaign national allows us to show millions more people that the stress and fragmentation they have come to expect are not inevitable. There is now a simpler, more coordinated way to buy a home,” he adds.

OneDome’s HomeBuyer Service includes mortgage advice, conveyancing, a property survey, and buyer protection insurance in one managed package. Buyers also receive a dedicated Property Moving Assistant, who helps coordinate the purchase and provides one point of contact throughout the journey. Customers can follow the progress of their purchase through OneDome’s online platform.

The service has a standard fixed price of £999. It includes the OneDome Guarantee, which protects up to £2,250 of eligible upfront costs if a purchase falls through for reasons outside the buyer’s control.

Paul Troy, chief marketing officer at OneDome, said: “The campaign uses humour to capture a situation that will feel familiar to many homebuyers. Different people hold different parts of the purchase, while the buyer is left chasing everyone and trying to make sense of it all.

“We want people across Britain to question why buying a home still feels so complicated, and to know that they no longer have to accept the Old Way.”
