PEACEHAVEN SITE MANAGER WINS SECOND AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING WORK

Dan Reed, site manager for Barratt Homes’ Chalkers Rise development, has received a second accolade for outstanding work onsite. Dan has been awarded the Barratt Group Customer First Forward Through Quality Regional Site Manager Award 2021. Dan was also recently recognised by the National House Building Council (NHBC) in the annual Pride in the Job Quality Awards.

After a thorough site assessment, which was completed by the Barratt Homes’ Regional Managing Directors, the Regional Site Manager Award was granted to Dan, recognising overall build quality at Chalkers Rise and outstanding site management. Dan has been recognised as the best site manager in the Southern region, and has now been nominated for the National Site Manager of the Year in the next stage of voting. The National Winner will be announced at the Senior Leadership Awards Dinner on 16 September.

Dan comments: “I was really proud to have been put forward as the Southern Counties representative for this award, and am over the moon to have won among such outstanding competition. The team and I are pleased to have our hard work recognised by the Regional Directors, despite all the challenges we have faced over the past year as an industry. To earn both the Regional Site Manager Award and Pride in the Job Quality awards in my first year as site manager is a huge honour, and I look forward to carrying on this success next year.”
