UEFA rankings consider the performance of individual clubs and clubs as a collective from each national association to determine seeding, revenue distribution, and entry into UEFA club competitions, namely the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.

The official UEFA data show England’s top-flight clubs are far above any other country in the 5-year ranking, with a total of 103.141 scored points. Manchester City Tops UEFA Ranking with Only One Point More than Bayern Munich

Analyzed by clubs, statistics show that Manchester City tops the UEFA 5-year ranking but is in a tight race with Bayern Munich. The Premier League club, which has the highest market value of all football clubs and two out of five top-valued players in the world, has scored 103 points in the last five years.

Still, that is only one point less than the second-ranked Bayern Munich. Last year, Germany’s most successful football club won its tenth consecutive Bundesliga title, which no team in one of Europe’s top five leagues had ever done. The German club has also climbed the chart of most-valuable football clubs globally. According to Transfer Market data, Bayern Munich is now the third most-valuable club in the football world behind Manchester City and Chelsea, with a market value of €928 million.

Liverpool FC stands third in UEFA 5-year ranking with 123 scored points, the same as Chelsea FC as the next club on the list. Paris Saint-Germain, the home club of superstars Kylian Mbappé, Neymar, and Lionel Messi, rounds the top five list, with 112 scored points in the last five years.
