Prince Harry has been urged to “move on” and “stop dragging everything up”.

Royal expert Helena Chard said Harry had displayed “arrogance” and a lack of care for others and that she believed his main intention was to “cause a fuss”.

She told GBNews: “He just has this way about him, like an arrogance, like he doesn’t really care. He just wants to cause a fuss and to get it out there. I get that, he feels hard done by, but you know it’s time to move on.

“He needs peace in his life and it’s almost like he wants to drag everything up. He says he’s over the trauma, but I can tell you he is not over the trauma because he would not be acting like this if there was peace in his life.”

Prince Harry is the first senior royal to testify in court for over 130 years. The 39-year-old is suing MGN over 148 articles which he alleges came from illegal activity, including phone-hacking. MGN has rejected the allegations made by the Duke of Sussex

The father-of-two’s claim is restricted to between 1996 and 2011, during which he dated Chelsy Davy for five years. This trial has also seen Hollyoaks actress Nikki Sanderson take to the stand to label several stories published about her untrue – including where it had been implied Sanderson had slept with three people in one week.

Ms Chard added: “Harry loves being the centre stage and this is exactly where he’s been. He’s a disrupter and he’s just he’s got a bee in his bonnet and he blames the press for everything negative that’s happened in his life, it seems. He seems to have this addiction to the hatred of the press, and he’s just going through it. He just feels he’s got nothing to lose. He’s obviously very privileged as well that he can afford to do this and he’s going for it.

“As we’ve all seen, it just seems it’s just based on assumption. There doesn’t seem to be proof unless there’s something amazing that’s going to be pulled out of the bag. I have no idea, I find it astounding. There are a lot of contradictions, there don’t seem to be any facts. If he was less emotional about it, and not so angry, wanting to bring people down, I personally would take it a little bit more seriously.”
