Prince Harry probably needs to sack his security team, says former head of Royal security
PRINCE Harry’s security team probably needs to be sacked following the controversy over the car chase in New York City, according to a former head of Royal protection.
Asked if they would have been safer in the UK, Dai Davies told GB News: “Yes, certainly, if he was they were still in the United Kingdom and they were getting royalty protection.
“I don’t think the event as is alleged, and it’s alleged because a lot of it we haven’t actually got to the bottom of yet, but of course if they were in Britain, if they were working Royals, they would be protected.
“If the committee that decides this took on board the evidence, the intelligence, then of course, Harry and Meghan, if they were working Royals, would get protection.”
Asked if they need a new security team, he told Dan Wootton: “Frankly, it beggars belief if that version is true. I simply couldn’t believe it when I heard it.
“But being a retired policeman, I like facts. I think if it’s true, I would sack every single one of them, if it’s true, but I’d really need to know their version.”
