REVENUE AND TEAM GROWTH PROPELS ABLE PARTNERS INTO THIRD YEAR

CREATIVE architecture practice
Able
Partners has solidified its reputation as one of the industry’s fastest-growing players in London with a successful second
year of growth.

Having tripled its revenue and doubled the size of its team, the practice’s growth coincides with the brand’s recent appointment to
London Festival of Architecture’s Warren Street reimagination project in March.

The project will see the team redevelop the area surrounding the central London tube station in a local partnership with Elliott Wood
of The Building Society, the co-working space that is home to both businesses.

Co-founded in 2021 by Bill Webb and Ben Stuart, previously of Make Architects, Able Partners has also expanded the team’s capabilities,
having appointed Duy Chau to lead its BIM team in February. Duy brings a wealth of technical construction knowledge from previous roles in which he was instrumental in delivering RIBA Stage 4 building information modelling (BIM) for some of the biggest projects
in the City of London.

Bill said: “Seeing this growth for Able Partners has been exciting.
Achieving a turnover growth of 300% is testament to the diligence of the team and the strength of our creative, dynamic approach.

“We are championing the creative adaptive reuse of existing buildings and transforming icons into beautiful office spaces, where Londoners
are excited to go to work. Having led on some of the most exciting buildings in Asia – like The Temple House in Chengdu that was voted the best city hotel in Asia – as well as the delivery of significant central London office buildings over the past 15 years
with Make, we decided to create a practice of our own that’s instilled with our expertise and enthusiasm.

“We have doubled in size over the past year, and plan to double headcount again in 2024 as the market continues to pivot towards a more
sustainable approach to office space design.”

Having successfully delivered a range of key London schemes at a previous practice, the team’s portfolio includes: 80 Charlotte Street,
an award-winning £250m fully electric building for Derwent London; 1 Leadenhall for Brookfield Properties; 40 Leadenhall for Nuveen, a £500m 40-storey tower; and 5 Broadgate, the largest single let commercial office in London for British Land.

The Fitzrovia-based team also recently developed designs to suggest how the BT Tower might be transformed off the back of its sale to
hotel giant, MCR Hotels, showing the practice’s commitment to reimagining local icons for the benefit of the public.

Ben said: “We’re excited to have been appointed to LFA’s Warren Street project as it signifies the team’s strong ties with local,
likeminded businesses. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Elliott Wood, our co-working space neighbours, and look forward to publicly revealing the designs soon.

“Our creative response to the brief is consistent with our bold, unique approach not only to our project work, but to our philosophy
as a business. We began our ‘create more’ podcast series in 2015 to demystify the design and development of the built environment through interviews with creative entrepreneurs, and this exemplifies our goal of offering clients more than your traditional architecture
studio. It is this out-of-the-box mentality that we are keen to retain at heart as we continue to expand.”

The growth in size and scale of Able Partners will allow the company to build on its existing client base within the capital’s thriving
commercial sector over the coming years.
