Following her debut Ascension EP, consisting of three-tracks including “Baby” and “Can You Feel” – Cosmicat returns to MDLBEAST Records to build on an enviable reputation and follow a luminous path.

Conquering the underground scenes of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates as a DJ, Cosmicat has now begun to attract a global fanbase. Her productions capturing a formidable style that is a clear suggestion of the heights in which she is heading.

Deeply decaying and at times ghostly “Work It” continues to weave her key ingredients of hypnotising vocals, rising melodies, and floor-filling drum arrangements that have made Cosmicat become a front leader of a burgeoning scene.

Having opened Boiler Room’s first ever broadcast in Bahrain in 2021, the Saudi Arabian selector has since focused on crafting her own signature sound and blend of tech house and melodic deep house.

Densely progressive, “Work It” follows the cadence of an inescapable snarling house groove, swelling with longed-for exhalation that peaks with an unprecedented climatic build. Flooded with expansive, intense atmospheres we are treated to distorted almost demonic preacher calls that interlock Cosmicats lyrics with textural ambience.

Despite formative access to musical equipment being limited Cosmicat grew up passionately inspired by Saudi music and now focuses her productions on tones and rhythms that are naturally anthemic. “Work It” is no exception and is a thrilling gaze into her performances at the likes of Tomorrowland, EXIT Festival and MDLBEAST’s Soundstorm, sharing the stage with such prolific names as Peggy Gou, Jamie Jones and Solomun.

Fresh from her DJ performance at Ultra Music Festival, and Ibiza’s Ushuaia “Work It” is deliberately more big room and fuses the musical aspirations Cosmicat has while intensely mirroring its inspiration. Speaking on her recent set at Franky Wah’s SHEN event in Ibiza Cosmicat says:

“Love Ibiza! Such a wonderful vibrant place with lovely people and amazing music, it’s been a dream to play on the island and make my Ibiza debut this summer. I already can’t wait to go back ”
