Rochelle Humes’ engagement ring symbolises exclusivity – and is worth A LOT more than her original ring

With the news that Rochelle and Marvin Humes have renewed their wedding vows, I wanted to share the below information about Rochelle’s dazzling engagement ring – including how it compares to her original engagement ring.

Ten years to the day that they became husband and wife, in a star-studded wedding at Oxfordshire’s grand Blenheim Palace, the popular pair reaffirmed their enduring love for one another in front of 75 family and close friends.

When Rochelle took to Instagram to share a photo of the couples hands, engagement ring specialists at UK retailer Steven Stone couldn’t wait to have a good look at her engagement ring.

5 carat oval diamond – the most popular shape for celebrity engagements in 2021
Set in platinum, which symbolises exclusivity
Replaced Rochelle’s original engagement ring, which featured a large sparkling heart shaped diamond surrounded by smaller round brilliant diamonds
Our experts estimate it to be worth £225,000 which is a whopping £179,500 more than her original ring

Diamond expert Zack Stone commented: “When Rochelle shared photos from her vow renewal, we couldn’t take our eyes off her engagement ring – it features a stunning 5 carat oval diamond, set in platinum. Platinum engagement and wedding rings always make a statement as they symbolise exclusivity.

Offering the sparkle of round stones in a dazzling silhouette, oval cuts were the most popular shape for celebrity engagements in 2021. Rochelle’s in good company – with the likes of Kourtney Kardashian, Blake Lively, Kate Middleton and Perrie Edwards also sporting the shape. The curved shape of oval cut diamonds is perfect for those with an active lifestyle like Rochelle’s because it doesn’t contain any pointed edges.

I’d estimate Rochelle’s engagement ring to be worth £222,500 which is a great deal more than her original heart shaped engagement ring, which Marvin put into a necklace for her on her 30th birthday.”
