Soft Minimalism with Loft Nature Oak & Snow Class by Rotpunkt

Rotpunkt, leading designer and manufacturer of climate friendly German Kitchen furniture anticipate the rising trend for soft minimalism in 2024-25, with the introduction of Loft Nature Oak and Snow Class in new matt finish for the contemporary kitchen living space.

Matt Phillips, Head of UK Operations at Rotpunkt says, “Minimalism remains a hugely popular interior style and as we move into next year, we are noting a more delicate presentation of this popular design movement with warmer colours, lighter wood finishes and quality textiles coming to the fore in the kitchen. Key to serving today’s home and lifestyle, kitchen furniture which is robust, visually appealing, and eco-conscious will help to bring a sense of calm into the home while introducing a quality mix of materials that can withstand the demands of everyday life.”

Showing the versality of a one-wall inset furniture scheme, the pictured Zerox kitchen concept includes the following innovations by Rotpunkt:

Loft Nature Oak: FSC® Certified, the new Loft Oak doors and panels are available in three high fashion finishes to offer varying degrees of natural oak – Loft Nature Oak, Loft Brown Oak and Loft Black Oak. The gold standard of eco-friendly kitchen design, all elements in Loft Oak are FSC® Certified to offer a greener alternative for the UK homeowner without compromising on style. The range of nature-inspired finishes like the new Loft Nature Oak offer a greener alternative to having a real wood kitchen, offering a more affordable furniture solution that does not compromise on style or the protection of trees around the world. Seen here as an ultra-modern inset kitchen design, the beautiful wood tones almost radiate against the stark white furniture, to add warmth and a natural glow to the main cook zone.

Snow Class: Now available in a new matt acrylic finish, the push-to-open Class cabinets in Snow are easy clean with deep chamfered edges to look and feel like real glass. Extremely tough, scratch-resistant, anti-fingerprint and shatter-resistant, you can even write on the surface with chalk – ideal when feeling artistic or adding to your weekly shopping list. Creating a frame-in-a-frame within the kitchen alcove, the double-stacked Class units help to define the storage area. Extra-long bar handles ensure that everyone can open the integrated fridge freezer and tall storage cupboard. In addition, there’s also the option to have a push-to-open fridge freezer behind closed doors with the latest Hettich Easys sensor technology. It’s so intuitive that it will shut the door for you once you’ve selected what you need!

Wall Panel System: Specially designed to make light work for the chef without encroaching on the Carbon worktop, this kitchen features the space-saving wall panel system with practical accessories. Seen in complementary Black Aluminium, accessories include two 2mm metal shelves on the back splash that can slide left and right, as well as added to or changed. The full range of accessories include 8mm Glass, 2mm Metal and 8mm Coloured Shelves, Tablet Holder, Foil Dispenser, Knife Block, Glassware holders, Industrial hooks, Slim-line storage caddy and handy Kitchen roll dispenser. Each accessory is designed to clip straight on to the panels for endless customisation! Panels are 19mm thick with 390mm space between the rails, so you can ensure this design feature blends in with standard door sizes. It also means you can apply a single full height panel or personalised arrangement made-up of multiple panels to better suit the space and individual needs.

XTend Units: Broaden your horizons with the new 2340mm height doors, which are part of the XTend range by Rotpunkt that offers a series of standard and extra-tall furniture solutions. Now you can maximise storage by enabling an extra run of top units above extra tall cabinets to make the best use of available space for a custom fit. The Snow Class full height doors mimic the look and feel of real glass, without the weight to provide an ideal solution for a multiuse kitchen-living space.

Smart-ready LED lighting: Integrated Manila lighting is discreetly fitted under the top cabinets to illuminate the food prep area, as well as provide another layer of ambient lighting to enhance the dining experience, which is available with black fittings and is 1 of 11 integrated styles available. Rotpunkt lighting is easy to adjust too, responding to voice commands via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa on your smart device, or part of a connected smart home system.

Climate friendly manufacture: All Rotpunkt furniture is designed and created under the brand’s award-winning Together to Zero climate strategy, where the company reduces its carbon emissions at every stage of manufacture. Crafted from Greenline BioBoard Gen2, the featured Zerox furniture by Rotpunkt is the sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional chipboards, and consists of up to 90% recycled wood for the ultimate in green kitchen design.
