Stacey Solomon named British TV’s highest-earning woman on Instagram

A new study by Turvallinen Kasino has analysed the Instagram accounts of nearly 100 British TV presenters and personalities to determine how much they could earn from sponsored posts on the platform.
Gordon Ramsay leads, as his 19.1 million followers land him a huge earning potential of £8,658 per sponsored post, despite his low engagement rate of 0.06%.
With the average UK salary at £37,430 according to the Office for National Statistics, the TV chef would exceed this figure with just five Instagram uploads.
In second, Sir David Attenborough could earn £6,401 per sponsored post. The broadcaster achieves the highest engagement rate in the top 10 at 5.99%, despite having fewer followers than several other presenters.
Jeremy Clarkson rounds out the top three with potential earnings of £5,809 per post, while Stacey Solomon takes fourth place with estimated earnings of £5,735 per sponsored post.
Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver ranks fifth with potential earnings of £4,847 per post. His 10.6 million followers make him the second most-followed presenter in the study.
Survival expert Bear Grylls claims sixth position with potential earnings of £3,959 per sponsored post. His eight million followers engage at a rate of 0.27%.
Former This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby ranks seventh with potential earnings of £3,848 per post. Her 8.2 million followers interact at a rate of 0.11%. In eighth is Maya Jama, presenter of Love Island, earning £3,071 per sponsored post.
YouTube star turned TV presenter Amelia Dimoldenberg places ninth with potential earnings of £2,997. Her 2.7 million followers engage at the second-highest rate among the top 10 TV stars at 5.21%.
Rounding out the top 10 is Ant and Dec, who could earn £2,812 per sponsored post through their shared account with 5.3 million followers.

At the other end of the scale, Channel 4 News veteran Jon Snow ranks as the lowest-earning presenter on Instagram. With just 4,731 followers, he could earn a mere £33 per sponsored post.
Comedy presenter Mel Giedroyc, known for her work on The Great British Bake Off, ranks second-lowest with potential earnings of £81 per post. She has 13,252 followers with a solid engagement rate of 1.7%.
Her former co-host Sue Perkins is third from bottom, potentially earning £133 per sponsored post. Despite a high engagement rate of 3.32%, her follower count sits at just 17,292.
Would I Lie To You? team captain Lee Mack ranks fourth from bottom with potential earnings of £163 per post. His 38,919 followers engage at a rate of 0.28%.
Rounding out the bottom five is Alexander Armstrong who could earn £204 per sponsored post. The Pointless host has 35,431 followers with a respectable engagement rate of 1.46%.
