Kineton High School’s pupils can play rugby and football in style now thanks to a £1,000 sponsorship from Taylor Wimpey Midlands.

The housebuilder’s donation was put towards new multi-use game kits to be worn by the school’s football and rugby teams at school fixtures, tournaments and community sports events.

Karl Pearce, Head of PE at Kineton High School, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the new kits kindly provided by Taylor Wimpey. The quality is outstanding and the students have been incredibly excited to wear them.

“Looking smart and feeling comfortable in high-quality kit gives our teams a real sense of pride and belonging, and that confidence carries onto the pitch. Whether they’re playing football or rugby, the students feel like a team and are inspired to perform at their very best. We are extremely grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their generosity and for investing in the sporting opportunities available to our young people.”

Matthew Kendall, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “We’re really pleased to support Kineton High School with its new sports kits and hear that pupils are already enjoying wearing them across a range of activities.

“Supporting local schools nearby to our developments is something we’re proud to be part of. Having the right kit helps pupils feel confident, get involved in the sports they enjoy, build their skills and, most importantly, have fun and work together as a team.”
