Key stats from the research highlighted:
  • The average age British billionaires make their first billion is 58 years old
  • 87% (54) of the British billionaires are self made, whilst just 13% (8) inherited their fortune
  • 1/3 of the UK’s richest chose not to study any further than high school – with 4 of them being high school drop outs 
  • Cambridge University is the most popular amongst UK billionaires 
  • 34 of the 62 British billionaires still reside here in the UK – whilst 28 have moved elsewhere, with tax havens such as Monaco, the Channel Islands, Dubai, and Switzerland the most popular choices for relocation.
  • Scorpio is the most common horoscope amongst the UK’s super rich
