The Korean Spice Girls are coming to the UK! K Pop sensations Rocking Doll are performing in London for the 1st time next week!

AN all-girl K-Pop band from South Korea is rocking up in East London this month, hoping to follow in the phenomenally successful footsteps of the ‘Squid Game’ Netflix series from their homeland.

Rocking Doll have already built up a tremendous YouTube following with almost 17 million views on the social media platform for two of their video performances.

Now British fans are going to get the chance to see them in action live and loud at the Troxy in Commercial Road, Stepney, east London on Monday August 15. Tickets are FREE and can be obtained from the Troxy website or the DICE app

The four band members, ranging in age from 16 to 20, can’t yet claim to be Asia’s answer to the Spice Girls, still one of the world’s most successful all-girl line-ups with 100 million record sales from an eight-year career.

But they have built a huge following in the few short months since they burst onto the South Korean K-Pop scene.

The London date will be the girls’ first appearance abroad and they are all genuinely excited about playing this eagerly anticipated one-off gig at the glamorous art deco Troxy on Commercial Road, E1.

Hosting the event will be the sensational Oli London, a British K-pop singer, TV personality and TikTok star who has more than two billion views and over 1.8million followers across social media.

The oldest member of the Rocking Doll group Roa, 20, who started singing when she was nine years old, says: “I am a massive fan of Adele. I think her voice is amazing and I can feel a lot of emotion when I hear her songs. I want to become a great singer like her.”

Juri, 19, is a big fan of Chris Brown. “When I listen to his songs I an feel the vibe. His voice makes me so emotional.”

Eighteen-year-old Ahri loves everything about Ariana Grande. “I adore her music style and her fashion sense.”

She says she looking forward to the Troxy concert. “I’m nervous and excited at the same time!”

The youngest member of the band is Rena, 16, who can’t wait for the London gig. “I also want to sample British culture and the local food.”

As the girls say: “Dancing, singing and the chance to dress up – what’s not to like?”
