Today, Multi-platinum selling singer, songwriter, producer and DJ Tinashe, releases two new singles, “Pillow Fight” & “I’d Rather Be Alone” – Listen HERE. The singles are the latest additions to Tinashe forthcoming album, Popstar, coming September 25th – Pre-order HERE.

“Pillow Fight” & “I’d Rather Be Alone” showcase a different side of Tinashe, leaning back into her R&B roots from various directions. “Pillow Fight” is a playful, flirtatious R&B anthem while “I’d Rather Be Alone” is a raw, empowering breakup ballad continuing to prove her expertise across genres. Tinashe also shares the music video for “Pillow Fight” directed by Zac Wiesel (Megan Thee Stallion, Audrey Nuna) – Watch HERE.

It was also announced today that Tinashe will be joining Harry Styles as support on his Together, Together Tour for shows in Phoenix, AZ on April 2 & 3 at State Farm Stadium. General On Sale Begins Wednesday, September 16th at 9:00AM Local. Visit hstyles.co.uk to learn more about how to secure tickets.

Tinashe’s upcoming album Popstar will also feature previously released singles “Melatonin”, “Crash Out” and “Too Easy”, all of which have all received widespread critical praise. Rolling Stone has included all three tracks in their Songs You Need to Know, and declared “Too Easy” a “…swaggering single…” while Billboard proclaimed the “clubby pop track…[is] coated in confidence.” Stereogum praised “Melatonin” as an “all-out dancefloor blitz.”

In celebration of the Popstar, Tinashe announced three headlining shows this fall in Chicago, Brooklyn and Los Angeles. Pre-sale tickets sold out almost immediately, making it her fastest-selling pre-sale to date and general on-sale tickets also sold out shortly after. These shows will see Tinashe perform Popstar on stage for the first time.

This era comes off Tinashe’s back to back #1 charting hits with “No Broke Boys” with Disco Lines and “Nasty.” “No Broke Boys” with Disco Lines hit number 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and remained for several weeks. The track was nominated at this year’s BRIT awards for “International Song of the Year,” at the 2026 American Music Awards for Social Song of the Year and won Dance Song of the Year at the 2026 iHeart Radio Music Awards. The song originally appeared on her album, Quantum Baby, which also featured her #1 hit single “Nasty.” “Nasty” propelled to new heights and upon release, was lauded as the song of summer by many in 2024.
