Two more reasons for festive spirit at Snap Fitness
In the week that yet another key hire joins the team at Snap Fitness, they’re also celebrating being named in the Top 50 of the UK’s definitive franchise league table, the Elite Franchise 100 (EF100).
Vaughan Maiden, who brings a breadth of experience in both the fitness and franchising industries, joined Lift Brands this week as Franchise Sales Manager. His background of driving growth and market expansion in the fitness franchise sector aligns seamlessly with the mission at Snap Fitness.
“The innovative approach of Lift Brands, coupled with the dynamic and forward-thinking culture of Snap Fitness, truly resonates with me. Their commitment to operational efficiency, product innovation and building a community around fitness is in harmony with my professional ethos and past experiences. I’ll be leveraging my expertise in strategic development, sales efficiency and franchise partnerships to enhance Snap Fitness’s market presence and operational opportunities. A key focus will be driving sustainable growth, expanding our footprint and growing our franchise customer experience,” explained Vaughan.
“The prospect of working with a team as passionate as I am about fitness and innovation is thrilling. I’m particularly excited about exploring new market opportunities, developing innovative sales solutions and contributing to a brand that has a meaningful impact on people’s lives.”
Vaughan’s primary goal for 2024 is to solidify Snap Fitness’s position as a leader in the fitness industry, both in current markets and new regions. This includes conceptualising and launching new franchisees that align with their strategic objectives, fostering a culture of innovation and continuing to build a brand that resonates with their diverse customer base.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Vaughan to the Lift Brands family. Vaughan’s appointment comes hot on the heels of Kristen Horler’s remarkable entry earlier this year, which has already catalysed significant partnerships across the business landscape. Together, they signify our fortified commitment to bolstering our franchise operations and growing our network throughout 2024 across EMEA,” said Kevin Yates, Lift Brands COO.
“Having previously worked with renowned fitness brands such as Fitness First, Leisure Connection and 1Rebel – plus his most recent role at TRIB3 where he was instrumental in completing around 90% of the brand’s sales portfolio – Vaughan is the perfect fit for Snap Fitness. His motives also align with our overarching ethos – fostering a family-first, fun one team culture through all franchisees, members and all other staff,” continued Kevin.
Reaching position 43 in the prestigious EF100 caps off a fantastic year of achievements for Snap Fitness. The long-standing best-of-the best in franchising league table has the brand celebrating once again having also being finalists for two awards at the 2023 BFA HSBC British Franchise Awards.
The EF100 recognises the brightest businesses from across the franchising industry. A panel of 24 specialist judges meticulously assess franchisors across eight key criteria – from their growth and ambition to their contribution to their community and the way they embrace innovation.
“One of only 2 fitness brands to make it into the Top 50 ranking, this incredible achievement is thanks to our dedicated team, hard-working franchisees and the support of our Snap community. I am delighted to be able to celebrate this with them,” added Kevin.
