UNCLE FUNK’S DECADES OF DANCE BRINGS A FLOOR-FILLING CELEBRATION OF DANCE MUSIC TO SOUTHMILL ARTS

Uncle Funk’s Decades Of Dance, the show that tore the roof off the tent at The Stortford Music Festival / Bish Bash this year, is coming to Southmill Arts in Bishop’s Stortford next month!
The brand-new show from Bishop’s Stortford favourites Uncle Funk’s Disco Inferno features back-to-back dance hits from the 1980s right through to the 2020s, including songs by Yazz, Black Box, Deee-Lite, Gala, Calvin Harris, Dizzee Rascal and many more.
Anyone who was at their headline set at this year’s Bish Bash will attest to the fact that Decades Of Dance is a floor-filling, hands-in-the-air celebration of the greatest hits of dance music.
Now, following the incredible response to their festival appearance, Uncle Funk are bringing the full theatrical show to Southmill Arts for one night only.
With a nine-piece live band, spectacular lighting, eye-popping costumes and plenty of choreography, Decades Of Dance takes audiences on a high-energy journey through some of the biggest dance anthems of the last four decades.
From the infectious sounds of the 80s and 90s through to the huge club and dancefloor hits of the 2000s, 2010s and today, the show celebrates the music that has kept generations of audiences dancing.
And this isn’t a DJ set with a few musicians thrown in. Decades Of Dance is performed completely live by Uncle Funk’s nine-piece band, bringing the energy, musicianship and sheer spectacle that audiences have come to expect from one of the UK’s best-known live disco acts.
So dig out the dancing shoes, get ready for some serious nostalgia and prepare to dance your way through four decades of massive tunes!
